Butterflies are the most beautiful and delicate of garden insects. They all have very different life spans, and habitat requirements vary. This attractant is based on a natural plant extract formulation. It may be used with a butterfly box or to attract butterflies to a feeding area (artificial food source can be created by making a sugar solution 5:1) or over wintering place. Plant Preferences Buddleia, Nettles, Asters, Sunflower, Violets and Snapdragons. Site In Butterfly Box, in feeding area or other chosen site which should be warm and sheltered near appropriate host plants. Proximity to wet area/pond is an advantage also. Set up Time From early Spring onwards. Preparation The attractant will last up to three months (dependent/variable with weather conditions). Open tube provided and site in sheltered secure position.
